Strategic Energy Management & Awareness

Energy Management is a process designed to save companies energy and money. Our structured approach will guide you and drive continuous improvement. Following an analysis of your company, we implement energy projects such as, energy efficient lighting or heating controls, along with measuring and verifying any savings in energy use or cost. Aramark carries out energy awareness and behavioural change programmes.

We have developed a programme for over 300 government buildings throughout Ireland utilising this approach with the aim of maximising energy awareness.

Energy Efficiency Projects

Aramark has extensive experience in managing and delivering Energy Efficiency projects for a wide variety of clients and locations. Aramark can survey the property and make recommendations for replacement equipment that not only is more environmentally friendly, but will be more energy efficient and lead to lower energy bills.

Project Management

We provide professional project management services for both Energy & Facilities Management projects to a number of clients throughout Ireland. ISO 50001

ISO 50001 Energy Management System certification, provides a framework for establishing energy management best practice to help organisations improve their energy efficiency and make a return on investment by implementing ISO 50001. The standard enables organisations to establish the systems and processes necessary to improve energy performance, including energy efficiency, use, and consumption.

ISO 50001 is based on the management system model of continual improvement, also used for other well-known standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 14001. This makes it easier for organizations to integrate energy management into their overall efforts to improve quality and environmental management.

Energy Performance

Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) is a form of ‘creative financing’ for capital improvement which allows funding energy upgrades from cost reductions. We work in the development and implementation of EPC projects that guarantee shared savings. We analyse operations and maintenance within a given business and use measurement and verification methods to ensure continuous improvement.

Audits, Surveys & Expert Advice

With our team of certified auditors, we carry out numerous survey reports for a wide range of clients throughout Ireland and the United Kingdom. The types of surveys we provide are as follows;

• SI 426 Audit reports - The Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) mandates large organisations to complete energy audits every four years.

• SEAI Grant Schemes.

• TM44 Inspections for Plant and Air-conditioning.

• Condition surveys for Plant, Buildings and Building services surveys.
