Aramark, BaxterStorey, Coca-Cola European Partners, Compass, Greene King, InterContinental Hotels Group, ISS, Sodexo and TGI Friday are amongst the out of home giants to unite with Footprint to form the Responsible Business Recovery Forum (RBRF) to promote peer to peer learning and industry collaboration as operators and supply chains grapple with a very different, post-Covid, marketplace.

As part of our on-going dedication to sustainable business, we have proudly joined Footprint's Responsible Business Recovery Forum - a dedicated peer to peer learning and industry collaboration, as operators and supply chains grapple with a very different marketplace, post-Covid.

What's it all about?

The Responsible Business Recovery Forum (RBRF) is a membership body of Out of Home food and drink operators and suppliers. The group’s objective is to collaborate to aid an efficient, industry-wide recovery, whilst anticipating future trends. A community of progressive businesses learning and sharing for past, present and the future.

Why have we joined?

The Covid-19 crisis has been a responsible business issue by definition. The way in which businesses have responded will provide a baseline against which all future claims of corporate responsibility will be judged. The catastrophic impact of the pandemic on the corporate landscape has left business leaders facing some stark choices.

Five, ten, or even twenty years from now, actions taken in 2020 and indeed long beyond will be closely analysed by investors, clients, consumers and stakeholders alike. Covid-19 is providing a litmus test for responsible, sustainable, ethically-minded businesses.

Businesses will need to plan for future scenarios and as we emerge from the crisis, the focus will once again be on sustainability. There will be pressure from government, investors, NGO’s and media to address environmental issues such as single use plastics, food waste, supply chains and sustainable diets. Not to mention issues such as employment, Brexit impact and financial constraints in the face of a changing political and international landscape. Being on the front foot will be vital.
