Eric is the chairman, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Aramark (NYSE: ARMK), a $15 billion global provider of food, facilities and uniform services.
Eric was named president and CEO in 2012 and chairman of the board in 2015. Since his appointment, Aramark has recorded consistent growth in sales, new business and adjusted net income and operating margins. He is also improving profitability by establishing a repeatable business model across the company.
He most recently led Aramark’s successful return to the New York Stock Exchange in December 2013.
Under Eric’s leadership, Aramark and its 270,000 employees are poised for sustainable growth through new business generation, geographic expansion and more efficient operations.
Prior to joining Aramark, Eric served as chairman and CEO of Pepsi Bottling Group (PBG), the world’s largest bottler of Pepsi-Cola. He was named CEO and elected to the PBG Board of Directors in 2006 and elevated to chairman in 2008.
He participated in the successful process of taking PBG public in 1999. Eric oversaw the acquisition of PBG by PepsiCo in 2010, which brought outstanding value to PBG shareholders, and then led the integration of the business within the corporation serving as CEO of PepsiCo’s Pepsi Beverages Company.
Throughout his career with Aramark, PBG and PepsiCo, Eric Foss has established a strong track record of generating profitable growth through integrated strategies and consistent execution that meets or exceeds financial commitments. He has led global teams to successfully build leading brands through a frontline-first mindset while achieving broad-based productivity gains.
Today he serves on the board of directors of Aramark, Cigna, Catalyst and the Kimmel Center for Performing Arts. Eric is also a member of the Business Roundtable and the Wall Street Journal CEO Council.
Eric earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Ball State University and was honored with the Miller College of Business Award of Distinction in 2005.
Frank Gleeson is President of Aramark’s operations in Northern Europe. Aramark is one of the largest integrated services supplier of facilities management, food services and property.
Frank joined Aramark as Managing Director of Ireland’s Food Service operations in 2013. A member of the advisory board of Aramark and a member of ELC (Executive Leadership Council) of Aramark Corp., Frank joined Aramark from Topaz Energy Group where he was Retail Director. As Region Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for Aramark, Frank is responsible for operations across Northern Europe. Prior to joining Topaz, Frank was Vice President Retail of Statoil Ireland, Operations Director of O’Brien’s Off License Group and Group Sales Manager for Xtravision plc. A graduate of the Irish Management Institute, Frank is a national council member of IBEC and former Chairman of Retail Ireland.
Lawrence is an accomplished business leader with more than 26 years of commercial and operational experience in the Hospitality, Catering & Retail, and wider services sector. He joined Aramark in 2007 from Delaware North having played a pivotal role in launching the New National Stadium at Wembley in his capacity as Retail Director.
He has provided executive leadership to our Front Line teams as the Managing Director of our UK Defence Business, then latterly as a Regional Managing Director, before being promoted In 2017 to Managing Director Food Services UK. Lawrence has an established track record of managing Complex Business Portfolios with specialist expertise in financial management, HR, Marketing, Supply Chain and Asset Management.
Shane recently took over from Frank Gleeson as Managing Director of Aramark Food Services in Ireland in 2017. He is an experienced catering & retail professional, educated to master’s degree level, with over 25 years’ industry experience. Shane joined Aramark in 2015 as an Operations Director. He has overseen and provided leadership to our Front Line team on a number of our key accounts including Croke Park, Guinness Storehouse, Apple, Tesco and UCD.
Shane provides guidance and direction to our Operations Directors and ensures our client sites are managed efficiently and effectively. He has demonstrated exceptional ability to build and lead top performing teams focused on exceeding goals in the areas of sales, marketing, and sector development/ management. Shane is also a member of the Board of Retail Ireland.
Tom joined Aramark in 2002 as financial accountant and in 2014, Thomas was appointed Chief Financial Officer. Since 2015, Tom’s remit has extended to Northern Europe encompassing Ireland, UK & Denmark.
Tom is also a steering committee member of Aramark’s Global Business Services team which has responsibility for developing Aramark’s financial and operating platform in Europe. Working closely with Region President Northern Europe - Donal O’Brien, Thomas is responsible for the development of Aramark’s overall financial and operational strategies in Northern Europe. Thomas has played a key role in Aramark’s acquisition strategy with particular focus on due diligence, financial integration and consolidation of acquired companies. Thomas qualified in practice as a chartered accountant in 2000 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
Adrian is responsible for Northern Europe’s strategic and operational HR agenda incorporating Learning and Development, Shared Services and Payroll. Adrian reports to Northern European President, Frank Gleeson.
Adrian provides leadership and guidance to the Senior Executives in the business and Senior HR Team who in turn, are MD facing and each head up a business region or function.
David is an accomplished sales leader with more than 22 years of commercial experience in the facilities, food and wider services sector. He joined Aramark in 2010 from Cuisine de France, where he acted as Retail Director.
His experience spans both Irish enterprises and those with a European and global footprint. Within Aramark, he has focused his diverse sales team around a results orientation. In his current role, David has strategic oversight for all aspects of new business and our client retention strategies for the Northern Europe food, FM and off-shore business. His leadership provides strategic guidance and direction to the Business Development and Sales Support teams. David is a graduate of NUI in Maynooth and holds a Diploma in Business Management from the IMI.
Martina Donohoe, Quality and Safety Director is the person responsible for the implementation and operation of the organisations health and safety policy.
Aramark employ a team of health and safety professionals and each operation has a dedicated standards officer who provides support and advice in the areas of health and safety, food safety and quality.
Martina is responsible for health and safety holds a BSc. (Hons) in Environmental Health and H.Dip in Safety & Health at Work. All standards officers hold a qualification in safety and are trained risk assessors and manual handling instructors.
With over 30 years of experience in the Facilities Management and Hospitality industry, Roger leads Aramark’s growth strategy for its Workplace Solutions division across EMEA. Roger will be responsible for creating value based FM strategies that are innovative, industry leading, tailored to client and customer needs, whilst maximising the use of the latest technology to improve productivity within the workplace.
Louise has been working with Aramark Property for the past 2 years as Managing Director with over 25 years’ experience in asset, estate and property management, development and negotiations. A qualified chartered surveyor with a broad, extensive background in every aspect of property development and management including acquisitions, disposals, lease agreements, lettings, rental negotiations, landlord and tenant negotiations, planning and project management; Louise is responsible for Aramark’s property team’s property management of more than 29 million square feet and rent collection of €350 million.
Louise leads Aramark’s management of the 12 million sq ft Irish Life portfolio as well as other portfolio of assets with clients including Green Reit, Blackstone, Kennedy Wilson and the Central Bank. Her role spans across property and asset management and advice, including redevelopment, refurbishment opportunities, lease renewals and reviews, surrenders, lettings, service charge analysis, review and optimization, planned and preventative maintenance, dilapidations, space optimization and space planning.
As part of a major growth plan, Carolyn is the newest member to join Aramark’s leadership team, as Marketing Director for Northern Europe. With 30 years of diverse industry experience, Carolyn joins Aramark to lead a new consumer centric strategy to deliver a targeted growth plan across Northern Europe. Carolyn will be responsible for creating market leading strategies that are robust, commercially viable and salient to the client and customer.

Prior to joining Aramark in November 2016, Hails successfully ran her own marketing and design company called Thinkspace Partnership and has a strong background in strategic leadership, proposition and brand development, consumer insight and managing food and hospitality business at the very highest level.
“Getting into the mind of the consumer is my main goal in every project we commit to.” Carolyn said. “It allows us to refine and improve every aspect of the business, from customer targeting, to observing and monitoring trends, and identifying rebranding and development opportunities.”
Leading a distributed team of 28 IT professionals, Roy is responsible for directing a diverse ICT portfolio that collaborates with all facets of the business in the creation of integrated, tailored technology solutions that enable operational excellence, cost control & margin improvement. By presenting practical and cost effective solutions that encompass People, Process & Technology ensures that each technology implementation from planning through to execution matches business objectives and positions the organisation for success.
During his tenure at Aramark he has gained a proven track record of success and enjoys deriving repeatable, sustainable business processes that support the company’s core objectives whilst ensuring the underpinning governance structure is fully enabled and engaged to support the change programme.
Leading the ICT implementation for Aramark at the London 2012 Olympics is one of his proudest achievements. A Masters graduate from the Irish Management Institute and University College Cork underpins the experience gained over the years with peer reviewed academic models and frameworks.
